Release Version 9.5.2
Whilst version 9.5.2 does not include any new features it does bring with it the ability
to successfully read and write to external storage (SD cards and USB) on devices
running newer versions of Android ie; 11 and upwards (including Samsung!)
Users of these later Android devices who couldn’t access their external SD cards were
restricted by having to use the designated ‘Safe Folder’ to store tracks and lyric files.

Tracks / Lyrics
This location is fine providing your device has enough internal storage available.
However, there was always the underlying worry that if for any reason you uninstalled
the app you would also remove all your tracks and lyrics - permanently!
I know most users are sensible and always have backup copies of their files but what
a ball-ache having to completely re-install them.
The following rules apply with version 9.5.2
Users using devices running Android 7 to 10 inclusive will still be asked for permission
on first install as follows.
And will then be prompted to
use External Storage when
attempting to access the SD
card.
Users using devices running Android 11 onwards will be asked for permission on first
install as follows.
After agreeing to this request the following screen will appear.
Slide the slider across to the right and then click the back arrow at the top left of the
screen.
The app will then install as normal.
When installed, access to your SD card etc will have already been granted.
You can check this by clicking the External Storage button in the Options page.
